Hello and welcome,

It could be due to irritated diaphragm, anxiety, or some other pathology of lungs, stomach or intestine.

You may try drinking shikanjavi (with salt and lime juice). You may also take amla candy for this.
You may also try calcium tablet or syrup like osteocalcium. SriSriTattva's Tulsi arka is also useful in hiccups.
Avoid alcohol.

If this fails to control the hiccups, you may take metoclopramide 10 mg 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days. If this does not help then Baclofen maybe taken under doctor's guidance. Best is to find the cause and treat it.
