How To Take Me Off My Adhd Meds?

Question: i start a new mental health clinic tomorrow after 18years with my prevuous clinic. they put me on anti of sychotics for two years and terrorizedme that if i got off them i would hear vouces. i have been off them foe a mobth and no voices. did they mis preacribe. they took me off my adhd meds two years ago. and that is what i need.

Your risk of experiencing psychotic symptoms such as hearing voices is VERY HIGH if you are not taking your antipsychotic medication. It may not happen right away, but it is almost 100% certain you will have symptoms again within 6 months, and may require hospitalization. I strongly recommend you restart this medication.

Why was. I put on anti osychotics. I was taken off adhd meds and started hearing voices. Why does everyone tellme i need these damn meds. I need adhd meds and only heard voices after i stopped adderall for 7 years. Orior to that i necer heard voices

I think the biggest issue is hearing voices. Antipsychotics treat that. ADHD meds always make voices worse, and stopping them does not ever cause someone to hear voices -- that must have been coincidence. In your case, if you want to avoid hearing voices, you should take an antipsychotic and avoid ADHD medications.
