Question: My wife is pregnant . How can i do abortion? We are not ready for this. She has just missed her periods which has to be on 7th and she cheked it on test kit as well and it was positive.

As she has just missed her periods and thus early pregnancy, it can be tackled by drugs alone.
Firstly I would like to suggest you that it is not safe to take the MTP pill yourself without consulting a gynecologist.
At most places it is not an over the counter drug and is available only on prescription and has a specific pattern of intake
Kit consists of one large tablet to be taken at once and then after 48 hours of that take the rest of the tablets In kit which are four in number.
After taking full kit, abortion occurs anytime between 6 hours to 5 days.
But in few patients there can be an incomplete abortion or excessive bleeding per vaginum and in that case you have to visit a gynecologist.

Mam thank you for your guidance but . Can u explain how the procedure of taking kit as some body told me to use it through vagina. So she is confused .plz tell me the timings and should her take it before brkfst or dinner?

Mam can you tell me one thing? She has to go urgently to another city. So can she take the first tablet on 11th april and rest four vaginally on 13th april? Will delaying two more days will effect her problem ? Or she can delay it for more 2-3days as after bleeding start she won't be able to go to office.

Hello Mam
Hope you remember the above discussion and she took her big tablet from the kit on 11th night and after completion of 48hrs yesterday she took remaining 4 tablet vaginally . But light drops of blood very light red color started for 2min only in morning . And she is suffering from cramp all time bt bleeding not yet started properly . Its been 17hrs aftr taking pills. What can i do now mam? I am very worried. Please guide me.

Wait till 48 hours after the intake of those 4 tablets and in case still bleeding and abortion process doesn't start then a repeat dose will be needed to complete the abortion process.
Take tablet misoprostol 400 mg after 48 hours of the last tablets viz tomorrow morning and hopefully that will result in complete abortion.
But in case it fails to abort even 24 hours after the same then you will need to get an ultrasound to assess the status of the pregnancy.

Mam- is it compulsory to take again the misoprostol orally after 48hrs?
Or she can take it after 72hrs?

Hello mam,
she had taken 2 misoprostol after 60hrs again orally. After that cramp started and 1 pad full bleeding then its been 24hrs only she changed only 2pads till now.and when she pee then small amount of blood is coming out . She told me there is no big blood clots or anything. Is abortion going in normal way?or i hv to take any other step?
