How To Terminate Pregnancy?
Question: Dear Doctor, i hav polycystic ovaries and i am now 1month pregnant. Me and my husband is not in a good relation. We are not sure of how long being in this relation.. we have tried for kid to compromise in relation. But things are not good now. I am physically mentally and financialy tortured. How can i abort this one month old prenancy naturaly. Bcoz i am afraid of taking pills as i have of PCOD

I can understand your problem. With PCOD, conceiving a child is difficult. Since this is your first child it is best to try to continue this pregnancy. There is no natural method to terminate the pregnancy. It is life threatening to try and abort the pregnancy on your own. You will have to take the pills if you want to terminate the pregnancy.
It is essential to have the pregnancy confirmed by a gynecologist .
It must be exactly dated too.
Next, medical abortion pills are to be taken as per prescription and correct schedule that your doctor explains to you.
I can explain the general protocol to you, but again, taking them without consulting a doctor is not just illegal, but potentially life threatening.
Generally, 1 tablet of Mifepristone is taken orally.
24 hours later, 2 tablets of 200 mcg Cytotec are taken orally or vaginally followed by 2 more such tablets another 24 hours later.
After this procedure, bleeding and cramping might start within 24 - 48 hours, and continue for upto 2 - 3 weeks.
It is also vital to have a follow up ultrasound scan to check that the abortion pills worked and the uterus is empty, after 15 days of taking the tablets.
Failing to take these precautions , there are risks such as - infection, uncontrolled bleeding, retained products, undiagnosed ectopic pregnancy etc.
And if these steps are followed, the pills work in more than 95 % of cases.
The pills can cause irregular periods which will need further treatment to regularize your periods.

I have had last periods on 7th of september, till now i didnt get my periods so i tested with " I Can - one step pregnancy kit", in the morning and got a positive result. I was having irregular periods and have taken "Novelo Desogestral Ethinyl estradiol, thus i got periods on September 7th. With this one step pregnancy kit, can one confirm her pregnancy? Also heard that eating pappaya and pineapple will cause abortion, is that really true, bcoz I had it last day, unknowing I Am pregnant.
