How To Terminate Unwanted Pregnancy?
Question: Hello doc
I did a pregnancy test when i realised a week passed and no period. It had a faint second line. So i started taking vitamin C for a week. Then saturady gone of this week i started taking dong quai for a herbal approach without having to go to the doctor to an abortion, because i took the morning after pill and my situation at this time is not an ideal one because there have 2 deaths in our family in the past eight months. I have been taking the dong quai for 3 days as of today and there has been some spotting. What should I do? I do not want to go through that painful procedure i went through some 6 years ago.

I çan understand your concerns.
Any herbal approach like dong quai or vitamin c is not going to be effective 100%.
it will just lead to incomplete abortion if at all it works and that will be much more complicated.
I will advise you to get a sonography first as it can also be an ectopic pregnancy.
Once uterine pregnancy is confirmed you should take abortion pills like mifepristone and misoprostol or get it surgically removed.

Hi doc, thanks. well i did an ultrasound and what was said was that there was no fetal pole or yolk sac detected. I also think that their calculation was inaccurate a they say i am 4 weeks but i think that it would be about 27 days today.
Can you get these drugs over the counter or is it prescription drug?
