Brief Answer:
follow up.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
How many days have you taken the medications I suggested last time as our last consultation was in January.
Have you stopped medications after 3 days or have you completed 2 weeks course.
How relieved are you on a scale of 1 to 10.
Is stool consistency normal now i.e, watery or mucus like?
Write back and I will suggest the treatment accordingly.
Thank You!

Dear Sir,
After completing the 3 day course of medication the problem was resolved and there was no problem of flatuance and the problem of motion was also mostly resolved, therefore I stopped the medication.
Currently the motion consistancy is mostly normal and sometimes watery.
I am relieved 70-80 percent now and the problem just remains for frequent motion.
I will rate the relieve level to 7 on scale of 10.
Thanks a lot for the reply.
Regards,
Neeraj

Brief Answer:
You have not completed the course of antibiotic.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Sorry for a bit delayed reply my dear patient.
Initially, I advised you to take those medicines for 3 days to see how you respond to them.
However I would have kept you on Rifaximin for a period of 14 days.Because normal course of this drug is for 14 days.
So prescription is:
Tab Rifaximin once daily for 14 days.
Tab Metrogyl thrice daily for 7 days(please revert back after 5 days don't withdraw medicine on your own).
Cap Proentra/Enterogut twice daily(probiotic to be continued for 10 days after you are fully normal)
Cap Pan 40 once daily for 5 days.
Please do inform me after 7 days and don't stop medications on your own.
Hope I have answered your query.
