Hello, and thanks for your question.

A persecutory delusion is a belief that one is being tormented or harmed by a person or force, without any objective evidence to support this. It is typically treated with antipsychotic medication such as Ability or Risperdal.

Hi
The truth is, i think about this person negatively everyday every hour, but im very conscious that she is not responsible for any of my stress. This person has maybe bad intentions to me, but my reaction is a lot exagerated. It has been 10 month now. I just want to stop thinking about this person and move on. I dont want to hurt her or hurt anybody. Im not paranoid with people. Can you explain to me the neurobiology of paranoid state of mind without hallucinations ? Can i feel better someday without having to take antipsychotic ? Is the root of my sickness some kind of depression that can be treated with antidepressant such as mirtazapine (less sides effect) ? And also, can meditation mindfullness help me prevent this paranoid state of mind ?

Welcome back,

What you are describing is not a delusion. It likely does not need treatment with medication. Instead, I would try psychotherapy with a therapist once a week.

In a few months, you are likely to feel better.
