Question: How to use mifeprine kit? Pls help me. I just purchase mifeprine kit because my report is positive, my last MP was On 11th March and today I just got a positive report, three years back I used same and it was 100% safe, this time I forgot exact dosage. Please help me since I already have two children, one son and one daughter.

Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Firstly I would like to suggest you that it is not safe to take the MTP pill yourself without consulting a gynecologist.
At most places it is not an over the counter drug and is available only on prescription but if you already have prescription and procured the kit then it has a specific pattern of intake
Kit consists of one large tablet to be taken at once and then after 48 hours of that take the rest of the tablets In kit which are four in number.
After taking full kit, abortion occurs anytime between 6 hours to 5 days.
But in few patients there can be an incomplete abortion or excessive bleeding per vaginum and in that case you have to visit a gynecologist.

Thankyou so much mam for your Answer, but please help me if it is to taken after break fast or empty stomach, another thing is after taking (A) mifepristone 200mg which is big one in kit then there is four more tablest with the mark (B) misoprostol 200mcg, request you to suggest how many per day after the first big tablet, I am talking about B since it is 4 pc and I hav to take after 48hrs of taking A.

Hello mam, I have taken the first tablet yesterday after the breakfast and now I am having pain from yester day after 4pm. The pain is I'm lower abdomen and it is too much pain, request you to suggest me pain killer for this situation. Also when should I start taking iron medicine, I have orofer XT with me, let me know the dosage as well.

Yes you can take pain killer now but after the bleeding starts then avoid pain killers as this pain is uterine contractions which eventually causes release of prostaglandins and thus abortion process ensues after that.
Start Orofer from 1 week after abortion and take it one tablet a day.
