Hello

Here is what I recommend you should do to stop Exalgo.
1. Exalgo is a narcotic analgesic which most of the times requires 'in patient' treatment and care for de addiction however since you are taking it just once a day it might be worth while to try de addiction at home before seeking professional help. At any point if you start feeling uncomfortable with excessive sweating, craving, tremors of hands, sleepless, restless, palpitations or chest pain then I recommend that you go back to 32 mg a day and seek institution help as an in patient for the de addiction
2.Take half the dose of Exalgo by splitting the tablet once a day for a week, if you are doing ok with half the dose then the next step is to take it every alternate day for a week and then stop.
3. During this time is important that you drink plenty of fluids in the form of juices and water
4. Keep yourself active, exercise regularly in the form of walking or cycling atleast for 30 min a day
5. Avoid caffeine, alcohol and high carb diet
6. Avoid travelling to distant places during the next two weeks
7. Sleep regularly and on time daily. Sleep is one of the biggest problems you might face in the initial one week. Ambien is a good drug to help you sleep.
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
I wish you good luck
