Question: I take Verapmil 180 mg daily for tacardia, Imistakenly took a second pill 2 hrs later i amconcerned about my BP dropping. I am on vacation unable toreach my physcian

Maximum allowable dose for verapamil in adult healthy person is up to 480 mg/day. Your total dose is 360 mg,so it shouldn't cause any problem.This should not result in drastic fall in blood pressure. In hypertension daily dose of verapamil can be given up to 360 and 480 mg. Verapamil dosage varies with various clinical conditions. You can start your normal dose from next day. Get well soon.
