Question: I, Biplab XXXXXXX doing well but am confused regarding the way covid-19 virus spreads and have a specific question--
Considering the fact that the virus passes through droplets coming out while an infected person coughs/snoozes,

1) How touching an infected people infects me? Wheather the virus stays on the skin?
2) If anyway I touch a body/substance where the virus was, then if I wash my hands thoroughly before touching anything else including my face, then how I will be infected?

Would like to get answers of those specific questions.
Thanking you.

Brief Answer:
It’s a droplet spread.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Corona is transmitted by droplet spread, the droplets of saliva or nasal secretion expelled while an infected person coughs or sneezes can infect another person coming to close contact or through contaminated objects.
1. A person touches his face around 2000 times a day, so the infected person definitely lodges the pathogenic virus on the hands and objects he used. Virus stays in the skin and other objects( the exact duration up to which the virus remain active is not clear)
2. If you have a hand co contamination, As I said earlier it can reach the face while involuntary touching and it we’ll get entry to your body through delicate skin surface of eyes, mouth and nose.
Proper hand hygiene and protective face mask can prevent infection.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks.
