Brief Answer:
There could be a connection, but low haemoglobin results due to many causes

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have read your query carefully and understand your concern.
Chewing any tobacco product might result in low haemoglobin as a result of suppression of bone marrow. However, there are more important and more common causes of low haemoglobin.

The most common cause in women in the child bearing age is excessive menstrual flow.

Essentially, there will be an excess loss of iron than that can be absorbed from intestine and converted into haemogllbin.

The usual paths of blood loss are, menstrual bleeding in women, and bleeding from the stomach, or intestines which is passed out in stools.

Another reason for low haemoglbin levels would be deficiency of intrinsic factor which helps in absorption of iron from the intestine.

Nutritional deficiencies of vitamin b12 and folic acid will also result in impaired absorption of iron and improper maturation of red blood cells.

Given a plethora of conditions that will cause low haemoglobin, it is ideal to get yourself examined properly by a physician at the earliest and get blood transfusion done to correct the anemia right away.

The high sensitivity in the mouth is entirely due to chewing of it.

You must stop it completely from right now itself, otherwise, you will develop cancers of the mouth, throat etc.

I hope this information is of help to you.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
You must consult a qualified counselor or psychiatrist to quit.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,

Thank you for writing back to me.

Quitting a long standing habit does take a lot of effort but it can be done with proper counselling and help from a de-addiction specialist.

Many people stop the usage abruptly and with a strong determination, will resist any craving.

The dependence will last only for a week, and after that you will not have the craving.

Reinforce your will by pasting reminder notes everywhere in the house.

Keep reminding yourself why you must quit this habit.

Please talk to a counselor and consult a psychiatrist and they will help you.

The nicotine in rajnigandha is secreted in the milk and it does affect your baby.

I hope this helps.

Wishing you good health.

Warm regards
