Question: I am 32 weeks pregnant. Yesterday after an internal examination I sat on a plastic covered chair to put on my underwear. I had a lot of discharge, secretions around my vaginal area as result of internal. Will any infection pass from chair through my secretions up into my vagina infecting my unborn baby and me. Brief Answer:
None

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Need not worry.

You would get no infection for such exposure.

I would consider the risk to baby almost nil.

Wish you good health.
