I Am 37 Weeks Pregnant I Recently Developed A White Spot On My Vulva. It Is Raised. Almost Like A Fever Blister It’s NOT An STI Or Herpes?
Question: I am 37 weeks pregnant. It’s the weekend and I can’t see my doc till Monday. I recently developed a white spot on my vulva. It is raised. Almost like a fever blister that you get on the inside of the mouth. I do NOT have herpes or another STI I was tested in my first trimester. I haven’t had sex with anyone, not even my partner since conception. It’s NOT an STI or Herpes. It was likely caused by friction from masterbation (as I am not having sex) using a vibrator. I was trying to induce labor (got the okay) by having an orgasm. It doesn’t hurt when I pee. It only hurts when it’s touched (wiping after urination or laying a certain way in bed. How can I treat this and is there risk to my baby if I wait until Monday to contact regular OBGYN
Brief Answer:
Detail below.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It has no risk on baby ,it may be some ulcer do to friction of vibrator.
You can applied some local antibiotic ointment with steroid three to four time daily , you can also take pain killer if pain is there.
Do not try to induce labour at home as it may be risky.
If possible you can send me photo of spot so that I am able to guide you in better way.

I uploaded a picture to reports. If that changes your diagnosis let me know. I only tried to induce because they told me I could safely deliver at 37 weeks. I’m NOT going to try anything else. I just want to make sure that this blister isn’t going to hurt the baby.
Brief Answer:
Can be a blocked gland.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
I have seen the attached image. This seems to be a blocked gland. It is not going to hurt the baby. Taking a mild pain killer and a hot compress can reduce the pain.
Hope my answer is helpful.
