Brief Answer:
It is better not to use this drug during first trimester of pregnancy.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your history and understand your concern.
It is true that these medicines mechanisms of action used inhibition of folic acid production and it may cause congenital malformations ( neural tube defects) during pregnancy but if during pregnancy folic acid levels are appropriate and used for short period of time, may not foetal congenital abnormalities.
So you have to take folic acid in higher dose and get your foetus detailed study( second level ultrasound) for foetal well being.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.
Good luck
Regards.
