Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Multiple system atrophy (MSA) is a progressive degenerative disorder with bad prognosis. The disease itself cannot be slowed or reversed. The management involves managing symptoms and complications with specific medications.

BP can be improved with epedrine, mododrine and droxidopa. BP stays normal or picked up as long as one is on medication. BP drops down once the medications are withdrawn.

In people with worsened bladder functions unable to be managed with medications, only resort is a catheter.

I am sorry to provide you a disappointing fact.

I would like to know what medications you are on along with dosages. I shall give a thought into what might help you better and get back to you.

Brief Answer:
Medications are fine

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the info.

The medications are fine. You can continue on the same.

Titration of these medications can be considered based on signs and symptoms.

As, I said before there is no cure for this condition but can be managed well with above medications.

Wish you good health.

Regards,
