Question: I am 79 years old. One kidney,. Stage III Chronic Kidney Disease. Atrial Fibrulation.
Meds: Eliquis, Levothryoxine, Diltiazem
I have an intermittant dry cough that has been since after February 5. I have no temperature. Fatigue
I would like to start a Vitamin C procedure of a teaspoon full Liposomal (liquid) every hour. My question is:
Is this much vitamin C going to abuse my kidney. I understand the Vitamin C molecule is very tiny.
From an Integrative medical point of view,Please advise

Taking a large dosage of vitamin C can lead to kidney stones so a moderate dosage is recommended for you taking count that you are having only one kidney.
Take 250 mg of vitamin C daily.
It will not have an effect on your cough.
I think the cough may be because of allergy since all lung examinations are ok.
You may need to take antihistamines such citerizine or benadryl orally before bed.
