Question: I am a 27 year old white female with ongoing stomach issues. i have upper gi pain that is constant. It gets worse with eating at times however sometimes it does not. The pain is in between my ribs ans feels almost like heartburn but is constant. I had an CT scan and everything came back normal for upper ans lower abdomen. I also had an ultra sound, endoscopy and colonoscopy which were all negative. My doctor now wants me to have another endoscopy with an eus. I googled the test and the first thing that comes up is pancreatic cancer. I am worried that this is what they are looking at. Like i said, everything including the ct scan with contrast came back negative. Is there a chance the eus will show something?

Brief Answer:
I don't think it will show any thing new.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Thanks for choosing "Ask a Doctor" service for your query,
Have seen your details and I appreciate your concerns,
You are a clear cut case of acid peptic disorder. Mild to moderate is not reflected in endoscopy.
If CT scan with contrast is normal 99.99% nothing is wrong with pancreas.

There is nothing wrong in following your doctor's advice as in this era we have the machines and investigation so even if there is negligible chance of it being related to pancreas etc it's good to rule it out.
However as a matter of fact your problem is related to acid peptic disease and dyspepsia.
Proper treatment with life style modifications would control all symptoms.
