Question: I am a 43-year-old male, overweight with gallstones and early non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and HBP. Recently I have had more right side abdominal pain ( only after a fatty meal), evening tachycardia (resting heart rate 110-115 normal is 77) sudden appearance of multiple cherry angiomas. What tests should I pursue to rule out internal malignancy, specifically misdiagnosis of live cancer as fatty liver disease? Will the biopsy of cherry angioma and imaging suffice? Will imaging work for pancreatic cancer? Should I request endoscopy etc?

To be clear. Internal malignancy is pretty broad. I want to insist on tests to catch something as early as possible without being ridiculous about it. I realize probabilities are I just have gall stones. But the cherry angioma (multiple) has me a little worried, and the common misdiagnosis of liver cancer as fatty liver disease is a concern.

Usually for the conditions that you prescribed before fatty liver and gallstones the ultrasound it’s useful.They couldn’t be missdiagnossed with cancer if the exams that you have done are not indicated this disease.

Other exams are blood tests,AFP,CA 19,9 liver functions enzymes,MRI of abdomen if your doctor needs further examination or have doubt for the cancer diagnosis

For the cherry agioma are type of skin growth how typically not a cause for concern unless it bleeds often or changes in size, shape, or color
