Question: I am a 70 year old female in good health. I have been taking effexor for sleep anxiety for 20 years.
I first suffered after the birth if each of my three sons. Then again at menopause. I have dry skin, brittle nails, and fine thinning hair.
I exercise a lot and run 3 miles every day.
Now the effexor ( minimal dose) has plateaued. Is it possible that I have been suffering from hyperthyroidism all this time?
