
I Am A 71 Yr Old Type 2 Diabetic, Have

Question: I am a 71 yr old Type 2 diabetic, have XXXXXXX and a history of kidney issues. Glucose #s run btw 200-400. Have an enlarged liver and spleen. Recently experiencing sensitivity in abdominal area just below the skin, only on the right side. I am seen annually by gastroenterologists for liver and kidney. Who do you feel I should make an appt with first. Thanks.

Further details re: symptoms would include:
1) discomfort to the touch of the skin, above and to the right of the navel.
2) discomfort defined as not sharp pains, but more as if deeply bruised under the skin.
3) abdomen appears more distended than usual.
