Brief Answer:
Would need through physical check up &needful investigations.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, Embomia 1,
Thanks for he query.I understand your concern.
Mostly salt is excreted through our sweat...while the sweat dries... it gets reabsorbed to maintain normal sodium levels ... but when it is not reabsorbed .it collects on skin & makes it test salty.
This can be caused when excessive salt is consumed / when reabsorption is hampered/ when the blood levels of sodium are increased due to kidney problem.
To sort the basic cause investigations for finding cysticfibrosis ..(sweat glands being affected to cause faulty sweating , to cause digestive problems or repeated respiratory infections &respiratory problems ., It could be be a symptom of heart problem associated with kidney problem or digestive problem.
Management of the problem therefore would need..multiple investigations to assess heart, lung, kidney &digestive health along with genetic test to exclude cystic fibrosis.
. * In this scenario you would need to consult general physician to check you up physically to have primary impression of cause.. followed by needful investigations to pin point cause &treatment accordingly.
* Personally you should avoid excess salt in diet.drink lot of water ,avoid exposure to hot weather &follow the instructions given by expert.
I hope that helps you.Any follow up query is welcome.
thanks
