Question: I am a homosexual, 29 years old. Last month I gave handjob (masterbation) to two different men. I don't know about their HIV/STD status. During the action, I was full on cloths and they did not touch any of my body parts. I have used lubricant while giving handjob and cleaned my hands after 15 minutes of the action with soap. I am worried but HIV and STDs.

Brief Answer:
Regarding HIV risk

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I have gone through your query and noted your concern.

There is no risk of HIV transmission or transmission of any of the other STDs through the skin of hands, even if his/ their infectious fluids came in direct contact with your hand and even if you had minor cuts or scratches on your hand.

Hope I have answered your query.

Thank you Doctor.

Since external lubricant was also used so will the use of lubricant cause any kind of risk? Or usage of lubricants will even further reduces the risk (if any)?

And

I feel, no testing for HIV or any other STDs is necessary, as far as this action is concerned.. Is that ok?

Brief Answer:
regarding STD testing

Detailed Answer:
HI.

Lubricant won't make any difference to the risk. As far as this particular episode is concerned, there is no need to test for any STD.

Take care
