Question: I am a worrier. I was having chest pains went to er they did tests and came across I have a 1.9 cm kidney stone in upper left kidney will do a full abdomen ct scan later however in blood work the following are Elevated rbc 5.45, hematocrit 49.0 and hemoglobin of 16. My father had kidney and bladder cancer is this what these results are showing?

Thanks for query .

Based on the facts that you have posted you seem to have been detected to have a Stone of a size of 1in left kidney

At the outset I would like to state that the stone that you have is in no way related to cancer of bladder and jkidney that your father has .

As regards blood reports it is not alarming at all.

The stone in the kidney can be treated by a key hole surgery what is called as Per Cutaneous Nephro Lithotomy .
This is most less invasive procedure to remove the stone in the kidney .

Consult qualified Urologist for further management .

You will need to get hospitalized for 2-3 days .
