I Am An 80 Year Old Man. I Have Used

Question: I am an 80 year old man. I have used an intermittent catheter to empty my bladder for the past 3 years. In the last couple of months I have had a discharge as I remove the catheter. Usually a teaspoon or two of a white, grey or XXXXXXX substance. It seems to rest right above the bladder sphincter below my otherwise clear urine. I have no pain or fever or other symptoms of an infection. What is your diagnosis and recommendations?

Taking urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoi twice daily for a week to prevent infection .
