Question: I am aware that radiation does not accumulate in the body after exams (has a half life and eventually loses power) I had exams far enough apart and was told they could be counted as separate exposures and therefore separate risks from exposure (the risk resets when the radiation leaves the body) Is that accurate?
Brief Answer:
Radiation leaves body with hydration
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Atleast 30 msv radiation exposure causes cancer
That is if you are exposed to 10 CT scans which increases chance of cancer by 1 percent
But eventually it looses power and adequate hydration with water that is atleast 3 litres per day helps to decrease affects of radiation
