Question: I am concerned about the side effects of Tradjenta. My wife has been taking 5mg tablet along with 10 mg of Jardiance. We have heard it can cause pancreatic cancer. Do we need to be concerned? Is there another medication?

Tradjenta is a brand name of Linagliptan.
It is a newer drug of diabetes.
Latest studies shows that there is no association between Linagliptan( tradjenta) and pancreatic cancer. So she can safely continue tradjenta without any concerns.
