Question: I am currently on sertaline (100mg) and klonopin (.5 mg) Both meds are perscribed for once a day dosing. I was perscribed these drugs to combat anxiety and panic. I had been using klonopin since late April and started the Klonopin in August. Last week I all but stopped the klonopin and within a very short time I started to experiance skin tingling mostly in my hands and feet but not limited to those areas . My hands also have become slightly shaky while this is going on. It is not constant thing but i wiil feel this at least once a day for a period of an hour or so.
Am I going thru some type of Klonopin withdrawl or perhaps i am overperscribed on the sertaline ? (I was started off at 50 mg)...or both

Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

What you are experiencing is most likely somatic symptoms of anxiety itself, worrying about the medication, rather than a medication side effect. Next most likely is this is mild withdrawal from Klonopin, which should stop in a few days. I do not think this is in any way related to sertraline.
