Question: I am currently taking Bupropion XL (150 mg) for my anxiety and depression. One time I forgot to bring my medication with me when I went on vacation for about four days. As soon as I got back I immediately started the meds back up again, taking one pill every other day for a week and then began taking it like normal every day. However, I’m noticing that it’s not being as effective as it was before, and it didn’t help my anxiety while I was going through finals week. Would the four days that I went without it affect it’s effectiveness? Or does it have to do with a placebo? What do I need to do to help the medication work properly again?
