Question: Please help I had light bleeding for 3 days then a period for 7 days I thought I had stopped then I have had spotting or light bleeding again straight after period. I have been bleeding now for 11 days. I usually have a 5 day and regular period I am so scared about cancer. Also I don't know if it is related I have a small pea size lump in my pubic hair I not sure if it is an in growing hair or not. I am currently trying to conceive and I am worried sick I will never conceive with the above problem

I see through your query that you are having a regular period cycle of five days. In my opinion, the symptoms of light bleeding can be related to hormonal imbalance.

I don't think that the small lump is related to the bleeding. It is probably a furuncle or infection of the hair follicle.

I have recently started Metformin as I have just been diagnosed as diabetic type 2 could this be the problem until my body gets used to it as my hormones stabilise. It is also supposed to help with ovulation isn't it. Lastly how do I get rid of in growing hair if that is the problem please? Do you believe in acupuncture for fertility

Metformin will help regulate the hormone imbalance,so you should continue the medication.

From 2 to 4 weeks after the miscarriage the menstrual cycle return to normal and you begin to ovulate as normal.

I suggest you to do regular ultrasound scans during different periods of the cycle.This way you can plan regular intercourses to raise the chance of pregnancy.
