Question: I am dealing with two issues and nothing is being done. My iron is 16, % iron saturation 3.7, my second issue is inflammation, sed rate 80. My Dr. has me on iron once a day, and I have been waiting four weeks to to have a consultation with a Gastroenterologist so I can have a colonoscopy. My legs are so swollen that my ankles literally are hanging over my

The swollen ankles and knees together with elevated sedimentation may signify a rheumatological problem.
Continue taking the iron as recommend by doctor.

Be cause of Covid I can not get in to see a rheumatologist. The pain is excruciating, especially in my hands. My primary won't prescribe anything. Can you suggest something. Aleve does not work. It takes me just shy of 3 hours to get dress in the morning, and usually have to ware slippers,
