“Sedimentation-rate Westegren” is nothing but an alternative name for ESR.
ESR refers to erythrocyte sedimentation rate and it is used to assess if you have any conditions that causes inflammation or infection. It is vary non specific test and it can increase in any infective conditions even is simple viral fever and so that we can not make a diagnosis based on ESR alone.
Considering your age the normal range will be 20-30 and the ESR value of 38 not that much high and nothing much to worry.
Usually the ESR is elevated in conditions like tuberculosis and arthritis. As arthritis profile is normal nothing much to worry and no further treatment is required at present.
