As we already know that COVID test report becomes available after 2-3 days. Also after exposure, it takes 15 days to develop symptoms and more chances of test getting positive. Therefore 15 days quarantine is recommended
The test is available in government institutes for free like civil hospital, district hospital, government medical college. Many private labs are also conducting the test and their fees ranges from 2000 to 5000. Many types of tests available among which rt-PCR is considered most effective (gold standard) to have positive report if infection is present. Swab may be taken from throat or nose or blood test maybe done depending on type of test.
