Brief Answer:
Get an ultrasound abdomen done
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Such abdominal pain could be caused by many reasons like peptic ulcer, gall bladder stone etc. It should not be ignored. It is better to get it examined by a surgeon and get an ultrasound of whole abdomen done. Additional tests maybe required according to examination by surgeon. Its management will depend on diagnosis.
You can get back with test reports.
Since it could be due to peptic ulcer, taking a pain killer could make it worse.
Meanwhile avoid spicy foods and alcohol.

Brief Answer:
It is H Pylori induced gastritis
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for reverting back.
According to the reports, there is some inflammation in your stomach lining. There is some breaks in the lining too that can aggravate the problem. Helicobacter Pylori is a bacteria that can cause this problem. It can be managed with antibiotics. It is called as triple therapy that can be continued for one or two weeks. It could be combination of two antibiotics and one proton pump inhibitor e.g Lansoprazole (30mg) + Amoxycillin (100 mg) + Clarithromycin (300 mg)... All given BD for 1-2 weeks. To be taken under doctor's guidance. Add on antacids like gelusil etc with every meal can be taken. Ayurvedic preparations like XXXXXXX XXXXXXX Tattva Tab Kamadudha rasa can be helpful. Include milk in your diet. Avoid foods that aggravate acidity like spicy, hot, rancid, foods. Avoid bread or burger. Take meals at same time every day. Take a walk or sit upright after meals. Dinner atleast 4 hrs before sleeping.

Brief Answer:
It can be taken for longer periods
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
It can be taken for longer times if symptoms persist. It doesnot seem to have any major side effects. If symptoms resolve earlier its dose maybe reduced or discontinued. A Nadi pariksha specialist or ayurveda specialist can guide on long term basis.
