Question: I am having an externally heavy period and concerned I XXXXXXX need to go to the ER. I have bled through 3 pads in the last hour and I am passing blood clots the size of two-three quarters each time I go to change my pad. I do have a history of heavy bleeding but I haven’t had anything this bad before. I have mild cramping as well. I am anemic, I currently take 325mg of iron 3 times daily, and I am concerned for my health because of that.

Brief Answer:
Need more details

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Greetings
I can understand your situation.
I need more details like your age ,parity and other medical conditions.
You defenetly need an urgent consultation with a GYNAECOLOGIST and start on progesterone tablets or other methods depending up on the scan findings and other associated conditions.
SHOULD NOT ALLOW THE BLEEDING TO CONTINUE.
