I Am Having Left Knee Pain Whenever I Sit For
may be due to osteoarthritis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your query and here is my advice.
As per your history, it may be due to Osteoarthritis. As Osteoarthritis causes joint stiffness.
Please let me know do you have history of trauma or injury, sprain, swelling of joint, fever?
To confirm diagnosis, I would suggest you to do MRI knee joint after orthopedic consultation.
Till then, for pain you can take tab. motrin (Ibuprofen) 400 mg every 6 hourly. You can apply diclofenac gel or spray and heat pads locally. These medications should be available over the counter.
Kindly use knee caps. Avoid long squatting position. Do regular physical therapy. Try to loose weight if you are obese.
Let me know I can assist you further.
