Brief Answer:
As explained below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask A Doctor"

Pain or cramp in the abdomen can be due to gas.

I suggest you take Tab. Rantac 20 mg twice daily before breakfast and dinner respectively for 5 to 10 days. Avoid spicy and oily food. Drink plenty of water and curds/buttermilk.

If you are having severe pain you can take tab. Brufen as and when required after food to a maximum of 2 to 3 tablets.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to discuss further.

Hi,

Nothing to worry. You can follow the medicines as adviced and if it persists then further investigations may require. I think it will subside on its own with the medicines.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to discuss further.
