Brief Answer:
Probably an ear infection, follow the advice below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your symptoms seem so be related to an ear infection.

It is a very common condition after a cold or a flu.

I suggest to use anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three tablets a day.

If the pain continues I suggest to use prescribed antibiotics.

In our daily practice, I often recommend antibiotics such as Augmentin 625 mg twice a day for seven days.

I also recommend to use antibiotic ear drops.

I suggest to use a warm, moist washcloth over the affected ear to lessen pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
