Brief Answer:
You may need to get evaluated.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

If you have passed a year without a period you are officially in menopause.
Once in menopause you should not have a period anymore.
If a year is not finished yet having bleeding may happen normally.
If you have passed a year and bleeding started again you should get evaluated doing an ultrasound.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
