Brief Answer:
Cross titration is the best way

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

First of all I Like to inform you that both Zoloft and Celexa may be weight neutral or may cause weight gain. As per the available data the Celexa causes anorexia in 4% of subjects while the Zolft causes loss of appetite in 3% of subjects. It can be stated that both the medications are comparable when weight gain/loss is considered.

In regard to switching the medications cross titration is the strategy which works best and no withdrawal effects are experienced for majority of subjects.

Although there are multiple options to do cross titration you can follow the following schedule while switching the medications
1 First week
Zoloft 50 mg and Celexa 2.5 mg

Second week
Zoloft 37.5 mg and Celexa 5 mg

Third week
Zoloft 25 mg and Celexa 7.5 mg

Fourth week
Zoloft 12.5 mg and Celexa 10 mg

Fifth week
Celexa 10 mg

Please remember that during the cross titration you will need to cut the medication whether it is scored or not.

I hope this answers you.
Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks and regards.
