I Am Now Experiencing A Lot Of Shortness Of Breath And Chest Tightness

Question: Hello! I have been previously diagnosed with athsma as a child but never really experienced flare ups anymore. Now, I have been having some shortness of breath and congested chest for a few days. I use my inhaler which helps minimally. I also use a vape which I've stopped using since my onset of symptoms. I have also had anxiety issues and GERD. I am now experiencing a lot of shortness of breath and chest tightness and I'm wondering if its from one of the things I mentioned, or a combination of all of them. Of course, I am also worried about corona/pnemonia being a possible reason.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

I don't believe that the symptoms you mentioned can be related to corona pneumonia since you have not experienced fever, headache, muscles pain, loss of smell and taste ,congested nose , nausea and diarrhea which can be symptoms of corona.
I think that this congestion can be related to asthma or allergies also taking count that inhaler helps.
The chest tightness also can be caused because of anxiety.
I think you need to get evaluated doing a chest x-ray and a spirometry.
