elevated blood tests
Detailed Answer:
Hello there and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.
I have read your query and here is my advice.
My understanding of the keto diet is that it is indicated for use in patients whose seizures have not been able to be controlled with medication. I do not believe that medical experts have found it to be effective otherwise.
CRP(or C-reactive protein) is found in the blood and when its value is elevated(and 6 is elevated) it signifies that there is inflammation in the body. But it is not specific as to what the inflammation is from. Some causes of an elevated CRP are infections, such as a kidney or lung infection, cancer, lupus, and arthritis.
I suggest to you that a healthy lifestyle will be more effective in lowering your LDL-Cholesterol that the keto diet. Also neither Vitamin C nor magnesium would be helpful.
Healthy lifestyle: includes daily exercise for 30 or more minutes, replace white bread and pasta with whole grains, reduce intake of cheese, whole milk, and red meat, and NO SMOKING!
You are a young man and you can do this to have many years of healthy life.
