I Am Scheduled For An Iron Infusion. My Ferritin Is

Question: I am scheduled for an iron infusion. My ferritin is now 20 after some oral iron. I have cardiomyopathy, some A-fib, and used to have and may still have fatty liver. I also have Gilbert's Syndrome and sometimes I do have jaundice. I suspect some kind of lung problem due to being a former smoker. I am anxious about the infusion and what it might do to my liver. Do you see any particular danger in me taking the infusion?
Brief Answer:
No need to worry
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma’am, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but none of your medical conditions contraindicate taking iron infusions so there is no new to worry and I would recommend that you take the infusions as prescribed. I hope you find this helpful. If you don’t have any clarifications then please close the discussion..

My hemoglobin is not low. My platelets are low and my white blood count is low. Should I still take the infusion?
Brief Answer:
No
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma’am, hello again.. In that case it is better to get a packed red blood cells or platlets transfusion instead of iron infusion. I hope you find this helpful
