Question: I am seeking medical advice regarding some liquid on the side of one of my testicles. I have had an ultrasound, as well as an MRI, which did not raise any concerns with the doctors and did not indicate any serious matter, such as cancer. I went to an infectious disease specialist to see if it was infection related, but was determined not to be. However, shortly after seeing the specialist I was not able to follow up with the doctor, as he has been working outside of his practice with focus on the corona virus matter. The liquid has been around for approximately 18 months and sometimes it feels as though there is some water retention and it gets a little swollen, but then will go back down again. There is no associated pain, though I am trying to figure out what the next steps would be. I had some blood work done and everything came back perfect, all levels great and no indications of any type of illness. Therefore, I am confused as to what to do next.

Possible hydrocele
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
Your symptoms are suggestive of hydrocele which is caused by fluid accumulation in testicle sheath. It may enlarge and pull back depending on body position. Some people live with it, but if becomes painful then surgery is required. Wish you good health. Regards
