Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have read your question.

The symptoms you describe point toward neurological impairment (diminished strength in the shoulder), so, besides Orthopedic Doctor, in my opinion, you should be evaluated by a Neurologist too.

Since you had undergone tests long ago, in my opinion, it is necessary for new tests (MRI of the neck and ENMG of the median nerve for the evaluation of the stage of the carpal tunnel syndrome) in order to understand better the current condition and the possible treatment ways.

The cause of the pain, numbness, and loss of strength may be pinched nerve(s) or cervical spinal cord compression.

Discuss with your Doctor these issues.

I hope this helps.

Feel free to ask if you have further questions.

I actually didn’t ask this question. Not sure if your software confused me with someone else.
