Question: My age is 28, I don't have diabetes, high blood pressure or heart disease. In the past two weeks I limited carbohydrates only to dates, apple, banana orange no rice no bread. I started taking Korean red ginseng vitamin B complex, vitamin D, Zinc, l-arganine alpha lipoic acid on dailybasis. However, I am suffering from extreme fatigue, whole body numbness, tingling and needle, burning sensation, reduced sensation of touch, electric shock in my arms, feeling asleep the whole time although getting enough sleep for the past two weeks . I went to neurologist and done MRI nerve conduction test. However, results were normal.

Brief Answer:
Other conditions such as thyroid dysfunction, etc. to consider.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

In my opinion, your condition should be assessed further for a correct diagnosis, since the MRI and nerve conduction test didn't show anything neurological.

Problems such as thyroid gland dysfunction, anemia, electrolytes imbalance, autoimmune disorders, etc. should be taken into consideration.

Blood tests are necessary to evaluate correctly these possibilities.

Discuss with your Doctor these issues.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
