Hii. If you are suffering from tonsillitis since childhood then please consult an Ent surgeon. Send a throat swab for culture sensitivity to the microbiology laboratory. You can start an antibiotic according to the report. You can start an anti allergic tablet levocetrizine which reduces the inflammation of the tonsils. You can start betadine gargle for decreasing the bacterial growth. You can also start omeprazole tablet to reduce the acid reflux which can also cause inflammation of the tonsils. Drink more water preferably warm liquid.
