Hi,
I would like to know if this pain developed abruptly over 4 days or have you had similar issues in the past.
If it is sudden onset, I would like to know how this pain developed - Did it start after sleep / after exercise / injury?
Do you notice swelling over the affected region?
Are you running fever?
Lastly do you have any known medical condition?
Awaiting your response...
Regards

Need evaluation if pain persists...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Apologies for the late reply... From what I understand you had an injury 10 years ago. But you have been pain free for 10 years and now the pain started days ago. I assume you are able to move the shoulder up and down with full range of movements and there is no weakness or limitation involved. Further more I also assume you have no other bodily pains.
If this is a localised pain, it probably could be due to local mechanical factors such as a muscle sprain and should resolve with a few days of antiinflammatory medications. I suggest tab nucoxia MR (etoricoxib + thiocolchicoside) twice a day for 3-5 days for such condition. If the pain doesn't resolve in those 5 days, further evaluation such as X-ray of the shoulder with or without a CT / MRI scan will be needed. An orthopedic doctor will know about these medications and scans. You should consult one if the pain persist despite medications.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
