I Am Trying To Conceive All Tests Are Normal And
Spotting before and after periods is normal as long as they are regular
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service,
I carefully read your query and understand your concern.
Spotting a couple of days before and after periods is normal, as long as you get your periods regularly. Also, the fact that you ovulate regularly is a reassuring factor.
You mentioned all the tests you have done are normal. Have you had a hysterosalpingogram done to assess the patency of your fallopian tubes? This test will also see the space inside the womb and rule out lumps (myomas) there. Semen analysis of your husband is also needed to make sure it is normal.
There are three factors that affect conception and these are ovulation, semen quality and patency of the fallopian tubes. All these factors should be well so that conception can happen.
Blood tests are generally done to check for possible reasons if you are not ovulating but if you are ovulating, then semen analysis and hysterosalpingogram are the remaining needed tests.
Lastly, stress may affect the ability to conceive. So, if all the three conditions for conception are normal (ovulation, semen, patency of the womb and fallopian tubes), then you will need to try to relax so to maximize your chance of getting pregnant.
I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
