I am so worried please tell me if I can trust the negative results even if there are these symptoms. Thanks so much

Brief Answer:
Your symptoms are not due to HIV infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I saw the pictures sent by you.
Nothing is specific to HIV (Either the oral lesions or the rashes).
Throat infection and flu like symptoms can occur to anybody. Follow the advice of your physician and get well soon. If you don't have any further exposure, you need not worry about HIV infection.
If you still feel disturbed, once meet a psychiatrist and seek their help also. Have a nice day.

Dear doctor,
Thank you for your reply. There was no re-exposure. I was worried about late seroconversion hence the question again about hiv 2 as you had explained that its better if I get a test at 12 weeks(84days) (which i did, and also at 13 weeks(91days). So sorry to trouble you. Thank you again.
Just a last question, please, do the combo tests done at lab, on 10th, 12th and 13th weeks rule out hiv 2 ?
Thanks,
Sincerely
doctor

Brief Answer:
Not to worry. You are free from HIV 1 and 2

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
HIV 2 is very very rare. Less than 0.5% prevalence only in parts other than certain parts.
HIV combo test is very much reliable and conclusive.
Late seroconversion is unheard after 3 months of exposure.
It is sure that you are free from HIV 1 and 2 beyond any doubt.
